Mold-Masters® Expands Product Line into Auxiliary Injection Units |

Molders and Mold-Makers who want to convert their single material presses into multi-material systems can now call Mold-Masters to get a pellet to gate solution. Mold-Masters currently sells hundreds of multi-material hot runner solutions each year. With the addition of mold-mounted injection units and rotary platens Mold-Masters can now provide a complete portable multi-material solution for use on existing mono-material presses; a significant cost savings versus purchasing a new multi-shot machine.
The injection units are available in hydraulic and electric options from 10 to 36 mm screw sizes. The hot runner mounting saves space and makes it easy to move the system to another press.
All hot runner and injection unit controls can be integrated into a single HMI for ease of use. The control unit synchronizes the operation of the machine, robot and auxiliary injection unit through a single interface (SPI or Euromap 67).
